The Industrial Hygiene degree program is accredited in industrial hygiene by the Applied Science Accreditation Commission (ASAC)of the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). It is designed for students with undergraduate training in the areas of engineering, chemistry, biology, medical sciences, animal sciences, or the physical sciences who have an interest in occupational and environmental health and safety. The three disciplines that form the basis of occupational hygiene and occupational safety are industrial hygiene, industrial safety, and ergonomics.
